Tommy Shenkar

From interior designer to artist, Tommy Shenkar has a natural talent to create art in an aesthetic way. Being influenced by pop artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Mars, Tommy decided to combine timeless American icons with an Americana-style painting. However, he gives a unique vintage touch by using recycled wood and vibrant colors, which showcases the effect Mexican culture had on him while growing up in California.

Portraying Americana’s zeitgeist nostalgia with today’s America, Tommy Shenkar recreates the good old days.

The cultural heritage shown by him is based mainly on superheroes and Hollywood stars, capturing the American spirit to its fullest.
